I don’t know a thing about grilling. In fact, that’s something I miss about living with my parents - my dad knows how to grill meat to perfection. That’s one expertise I’ll be looking for in a husband.
So after work I went to Target and bought a George Foreman. That was $16 spent well. I had never used one before, and I was so happy when I realized how quick and easy they are!
These turkey burgers are delish and light. I replaced breadcrumbs with rolled oats & eggs with egg whites. The feta makes it creamy and cheesy and rich.
I topped mine with sweet roasted red pepper and baby arugula.
Yum!! I will be making these often :)
Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers
1 lb ground turkey
1 cup rolled oats
10 oz frozen spinach, thawed
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup crumbled feta
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
salt & pepper
Thaw spinach and squeeze all the water out. Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix with hands. Form into small patties and grill until cooked through. Mine took about 5 minutes. Enjoy!
