I've totally been slacking on my blog :( I've been burning through recipes every week, I just haven't documented them. But they're about to start rolling in! I thought I'd also add some workout stuff. I started Crossfit a month ago and absolutely love it. I can already tell a difference in my body. So I want to start tracking my progress.
November 24 - November 30
A. Muscle Snatch. Snatch Balance 1.1 Work to a tough set. 60#
B. 5 sets @ high effort 25ft OH Walking Lunges w/ DB RH (20#) 25ft OH Walking Lunges w/ DB LH (20#) 200 m run 20 Alt DB Power Snatches (20#) *Rest same as work time
A. Back Squat, 1 Rep x 6 sets, 1 min b/t (100#)
B. 15 min EMOM 1st - Russian Twist w/ bumper plate (15#) 2nd - 15 sec L-Sit then 5 Toes to Bar 3rd - 30 sec Wall Sit
A. 10 Minute Easy Run B. For time: 100 Burpees 9:55 C. 10 Minute Easy Run
Thursday - 4 mile Turkey Trot! I set a goal for myself at 40 minutes, and I made it in 36:27 :) Pretty excited about that. But I hurt my foot in the process. Going to the doc this week :\ I managed to talk my parents into the Trot and they loved it. Definitely going to be a Thanksgiving tradition!
Friday - rest day. Like I said, my foot hurts! I did at least stay active though, with a little friendly family football.
Saturday - My brother guilted me into coming to his box for the partner wod. Since Chris owns a Crossfit gym, I really have no excuse to not work out when I come home, even for the holidays. But it was fun!
